AUCKLAND, 5 JUNE 2020 – The 2020.75 Ford Focus will receive equipment upgrades and specification improvements in a sharpened, driver-focused line-up. The revitalised Focus range continues to offer customers distinctively different Focus models that reflect unique character, flexibility and diversity of lifestyles and tastes.
In addition, new features will further enhance the already specific ethos and character of each model, now simplified to three clearly defined choices and offered exclusively in the practical, spacious and style-driven hatch body-style.

The sharpened Focus line-up will consist of the Focus Active and the new highly-equipped, distinctive Focus ST-Line X which will sit below the recently-launched Ford Performance-developed Focus ST.
Focus 2020.75: Sport or Adventure
The new Focus ST-Line X and Focus Active provide distinctive, clear identities, capitalising on the driving dynamics, practicality and efficiency inherent in the new-generation Ford Focus. Both are powered by the 134kW/240Nm 1.5-litre turbocharged EcoBoost powertrain, complete with 8-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, with 6.4L/100km[i] fuel economy.
The 2020.75 Focus will include FordPass Connect embedded modem, which brings even greater accessibility, convenience and capability to Focus owners through their compatible smartphone.
FordPass™ Connect features an array of convenient remote vehicle functionality and connected services to make life simpler for Ford owners, such as remote vehicle lock and unlock. The FordPass App also brings several services including access to roadside assistance, the ability to check fuel level, tyre pressures, oil life and check recent service history, owners’ manual, and even a convenient way to get in touch with a ‘Ford Guide’, who can assist – by phone or email – with any queries about connected services.
The Focus ST-Line X and the Focus ST will be upgraded to the 12.3-inch fully-configurable digital instrument cluster allowing the driver to personalise and prioritise display of information including driver assistance technology and sat-nav notifications.
All models will offer the Ford’s SYNC 3 system, which includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone compatibility, with wireless smartphone charging.
From the cabin, new LED headlights improve forward vision, while also increasing visibility to other road-users outside of the vehicle. The upgraded lighting enables Focus’ Daytime Running Lights a distinct identity though its light signature, in addition to the improved vision.
Specific improvements to the suspension of the 2020.75 Focus range include the introduction of multi-link rear suspension. The technical upgrade reflects the Focus’ dynamic attributes and offers greater comfort through a more refined cabin with a quieter ride while also reflecting the athletic and driver-oriented character of the Focus range.
The upgraded Focus line-up will see the favourite colours carry over with the introduction of a new colour – Fantastic Red available across the range.
2020.75 Focus ST-Line X: driver-focused athleticism
The Europe-sourced Focus range now offers an even better equipped ST-Line X hatch complete with its unique body styling, lowered sports suspension and interior detailing, which includes unique red-seat stitching and wireless smartphone charging.
Specific improvements to the 2020.75 Focus ST-Line X hatch include the introduction of multi-link rear suspension. The technical upgrade reflects the Focus’ dynamic attributes and offers greater comfort through a more refined cabin with its quieter ride, truly reflecting the athletic and driver-oriented character of the ST-Line X.
2020.75 Focus Active: spirit of adventure
With its greater ground clearance and unique, off-road driving modes, the Focus Active continues to build its reputation as a weekend-getaway vehicle. Customers seeking the practicality and convenience of hatch, but with enhanced capability of its Trail and Slippery drive modes, will also benefit from privacy glass, upgraded lighting for clearer vision ahead, with multi-link rear suspension aiding off-road flexibility while contributing to on-road manners.
2020.75 Focus ST: thrilling performance
The already amazing new Focus ST gains additional features in the 2020.75 model including a 10-speaker B&O audio system and 12.3 inch full TFT/LCD colour instrument cluster screen.
The upgraded 2020.75 Focus line-up is on sale in from August 2020.
